If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible to avoid a 24 hour cancellation fee.

Our goal is to provide quality medical care in a timely manner. In order to do so, we have had to implement an appointment cancellation policy. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of medical care. We schedule our appointments so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our physicians and staff. That’s why it is very important that you keep your scheduled appointment with us, and arrive on time. As a courtesy, and to help patients remember their scheduled appointments, Pinnacle Dermatology sends text message and email reminders 5 days, 2 days, and 3 hours in advance of the appointment time. If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please contact us so we may reschedule you, and accommodate those patients who are waiting for an appointment.
As a courtesy to our office as well as to those patients who are waiting to schedule with the physician, please give us at least 48 hours of notice. If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours of notice, we may assess a $75 – $150 “no-show” service charge to your account. This “no-show charge” is not reimbursable by your insurance company. You will be billed directly for it. After three consecutive no-shows to your appointment, our practice may decide to terminate its relationship with you
Insurance And Billing
We accept most traditional insurance plans. Please contact your insurance carrier by calling the member services number on your card to verify that we are in your network, this will insure that you receive maximum benefit under your plan. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dermatologist.
