Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedures that use a combination of different chemicals to exfoliate the skin. Depending on the strength of the peel, this can cause the uppermost layers of the skin to peel away, revealing younger, healthier-looking tissue underneath.

Superficial Peels

Superficial peels are mild enough that patients can return to their normal daily routines as soon as they’re done with treatment. While these peels can sometimes cause patients to experience mild redness or flaking, these side effects usually subside within a few days.

  • Reduce dark spots
  • Maintain skin health
  • Cleanse pores
  • Improve skin tone and texture

Medium Peels

Medium peels are slightly stronger than superficial peels, and therefore, require a longer period of recovery. Following treatment, the outermost layer of the skin begins to crust and fall off for the first few days after treatment. The entire peeling process is usually complete within a week of undergoing a medium peel.

  • Correct pigmentation issues
  • Soften sun damage
  • Improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines

Deep Peels

Deep peels remove significantly more skin than medium ones and often require a significantly longer recovery time. These peels can be used to address more severe skin concerns that would otherwise be treated with laser skin resurfacing treatment. Typically, we recommend that our patients undergo a different aesthetic procedure to treat these more severe concerns.
