Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive, low downtime, and cost-effective way to treat scars, wrinkles, and pigmentation. This medical procedure has been shown to stimulate the formation of new collagen and elastin, resulting in more youthful skin. A series of three-six treatments, two-four weeks apart has been shown clinically to produce significant improvement immediately with continued improvement for many months post-treatment.

During treatment, tiny oscillating needles create micro-wounds and channels in the epidermal and dermal components of the skin. This medically controlled skin injury stimulates the wound healing cascade allowing the release of many growth factors and cytokines to stimulate new collagen formation and skin remodeling. There is little damage to the top layer of the skin, which allows for quick recovery and little downtime from the procedure! By utilizing the body’s natural healing, the results are very natural.

The microneedling procedure takes approximately 20 minutes.

Additional benefits may be observed when microneedling is accompanied by PRP.
