Attention All Patients of Pinnacle Dermatology,

Due to Governor Inslee’s orders, we have all been asked to stay home. It will exempt businesses and agencies that provide essential services, like grocery stores, pharmacies, and of course hospitals/ doctor’s offices, and those considered critical infrastructure. This is an unprecedented move made by leaders who understand the value of decreasing potential exposure to Covid-19 spread. During this time, Pinnacle Dermatology will remain open to take care of patients who have urgent skin health needs, but we are also encouraging patients who need routine follow ups, prescriptions refills, new patients with uncomplicated problems, and patients who do not want to come in to the office to book telemedicine appointments. These virtual dermatology appointments will occur via live video which can be done from most smart phones, laptops or desktop computers with a camera and microphone, and a compatible browser (Chrome, Firefox or Safari). This is very similar to using FaceTime, but it is conducted via a HIPPA compliant platform called Doxy.me.

You may call Pinnacle Dermatology at (425)999-2628 to schedule your teledermatology appointment. On the day of your appointment, you will be sent a direct link to join me for a secure video call via text or email: https://doxy.me/drdeettagray

15 minutes before your appointment, you will click on the link with your smartphone or computer and will enter into a waiting room. We will verify your insurance coverage and take any related co-payments prior to your teledermatology visit. We will submit all claims to your primary insurance carriers in a timely manner. Insurance plans vary considerably and we cannot predict or guarantee what part of our services will or will not be covered by your insurance plan. Teledermatology visits are subject to co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles. Patients are responsible for knowing the details/rules of their healthcare plan(s), as we cannot change our coding to obtain payment.

I look forward to seeing you at your visit.

Sincerely,

Dr. Gray
